We present the South Carolina Law Enforcement Cadet Academy Scholarship Award to well deserving rising high school seniors or rising college freshmen. We urge your participation. Please take a moment to nominate a deserving young person.

Purpose:

To provide an opportunity for young individuals, interested in law enforcement, to learn and experience the unique challenge of the law enforcement profession within South Carolina. This selected group of participants spend one week at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy being introduced to the various law enforcement agencies and exposed to the daily duties of a law enforcement officer.

Criteria:

Participants must be:

1. Rising high school senior or rising college freshman

2. Must be willing to spend the entire week at the academy

3. Willing to complete a physical questionnaire (signed by parent/guardians)

4. Nominated by an active SCPPA member

Award:

The recipient of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Cadet Scholarship will spend a week at the SC Criminal Justice Academy being introduced to the various law enforcement agencies and exposed to the daily duties of a law enforcement officer.
