SCPPA Helping Others

SCPPA is working to renew our commitment to Philanthropy!  Each quarter, South Carolina Probation and Parole Association recognizes a non-profit organization and contributes a monetary gift or supplies for the work the organization does throughout our community. SCPPA would like to contribute to organizations all over the state.  Please contact any board member if you have a particular philanthropy in mind that SCPPA could assist.

The fourth quarter of 2009 SCPPA purchased items for the new incentive room at the Midlands Evaluation Center at the Department of Juvenile Justice. Items included a PlayStation II and games, arts and crafts materials, board games and video games.  The Director of SCDJJ Evaluation Centers, Ronnie Grate and Capt. Cooper-Charles invited SCPPA Board members to a luncheon to thank the board for their donation.  At the luncheon, SCPPA was given a plaque thanking us for our support.
