Linda J. Allen Community Service Award

During the Fall Conference, we will present the Linda J. Allen Community Service Award to an active and well deserving SCPPA member. This award is given in memory of Linda J. Allen, a former employee of the Alston Wilkes Society, who exhibited great dedication to the field of criminal justice. This will be a great opportunity for professional growth while also enjoying the Grand Strand of South Carolina. We urge your participation. Please take a moment to nominate a deserving SCPPA member.

Purpose: 

To perpetuate the ideas and philosophies of the SCPPA by providing incentive and assistance to a person(s) to further strengthen the effectiveness of the Association by actively participating in training and showing demonstrated commitment in excellence and innovation.

Criteria: 
  1. Nominee may be a member of non-member of SCPPA.
  2. Nominee is an individual and/or organization that has demonstrated a history of participation in the rehabilitation of offenders and has provided significant contributions to the field of community corrections (i.e., organizations that provide offenders employment, tutors, volunteers that provide transportation, give their free time to assist and visit offenders and individuals who volunteer to assist rehabilitative organizations.)
