Jessica Drost - 2010 SCDPPPS Agent of the Year

Please join me in congratulating Jessica Drost of Berkeley County, as the 2010 Agent of the Year for the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Parole and Pardon Services. Agent Drost has been with the department for five years. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University and has a master’s degree from Webster’s University. She is also the membership chairwoman and current board member of the South Carolina Probation and Parole Association. “Jessica is one of the most efficient agents I have had the pleasure of working with during my 20 years with this agency,” Berkeley AIC David Fashion said. “She requires very little supervision as she learned agency policies quickly, and ensured that they were adhered to by offenders. She is deserving of the award being presented to her.”

Along with this honor comes the Mark Hart award from the Alston Wilkes Society at their annual law enforcement awards luncheon in Columbia next month. Mark Hart, for whom the Alston Wilkes Agent of the Year award is named, was an SCDPPPS agent in Spartanburg who died in 1983 from cancer.
